WCF was established over 120 years ago as an agricultural co-operative by a group of farmers close to the natural beauty of the Lake District and whilst the business has grown and diversified over the years the rural Cumbrian countryside remains our home. Today WCF is a thriving group of businesses operating within a range of sectors across the UK with a passionate group of employee owners at its heart.
Our own brand products are made right here in the UK, contain only quality ingredients, and sell through our stores to thousands of loyal customers. Our Lakes Collection range was developed and designed by an internal team who were passionate about bringing great quality dog feed to our customers.
In our stores we also stock an extensive range of branded products aimed at satisfying the requirements of those who live in a rural community or aspire to a country way of life.
Our People
At Lakes Collection and WCF Pet & Equestrian, we believe life is better with animals, and we want to make our animal friends as happy as they make us. We welcome dogs into our stores and our workplaces.
The team are passionate about all pets and have used their nutritional expertise to bring you an exclusive selection of high-quality, complete dog and cat food. They strive to provide your pets with a product that they not only love, but that helps to provide them with a healthy, balanced diet.
The vast majority of our team are animal owners and countryside lovers, and together, we are here to support you and your pets in our stores and our website. Many of our own brand products are tested and used by our team so we are confident they deliver the desired benefits.
