Penrith: a great place for business

Larch cottage nurseries was started 20 years ago. It has evolved into the nursery you see today, with its Romanesque styles ruined walls, accommodating individual gardens entwined within the selling areas. The plant collection has grown to be one of the most comprehensive in Britain.
Areas include a Japanese dry garden (see gallery), monastic herb garden, medieval courtyard, and gothic plant house. These are set off by large herbaceous borders, creating a unique atmosphere.
