Penrith is delighted to join Dalemain Mansion in celebrating the 20th Marmalade Awards. 

Visitors to the 20th Marmalade Awards are invited to catch one of our free buses into Penrith and explore our lovely shops and cafes.

FREE travel all day between Penrith Town Centre, Penrith Train Station, Rheged and Dalemain Mansion

Buses depart roughly every 15 minutes between 9.30 - 4pm. Choose from Harvey, a very handsome green and cream double-decker or Rosie, a classy crimson and ivory single decker

Have your photo taken with Paddington in Little Dockray

Don't forget to spend a little time with our very own Paddington

Listen to the lovely music in the bandstand in Cornmarket

• 12pm - 1pm UCC Orchestra and Big Band
• 1.30pm - 3.30pm Solway Express

Follow our Marmalade Festival trail

Penrith Library is joining in with the Orange Marmalade Festival this weekend. There will be a trail from Penrith Library – collect a trail map from there – find the pictures of Paddington and other characters in his story.  Come back to the Library to find the Marmalade Jars hidden around the Library and collect your gift at the Ask Desk.

(This will be up for 2 weeks from this Saturday and will be obviously during opening hours.)
